Goal: understand who starts a fight, who helps create a safe transition and who benefits from a Chain Attack. HoYoverse’s store description confirms dodges, blocks, Basic and Special Attacks, and Chain Attacks as combat tools. It does not declare one universal optimal trio for every account.
Build a one-line role map

List your available Agents and write one sentence for each: “I use this Agent to open,” “this Agent keeps pressure manageable,” or “this Agent follows the team sequence.” The wording is deliberately functional. An Agent’s rarity does not tell you whether you understand their timing or whether they solve a problem in the current fight.
Test the group in an ordinary commission. On the first attempt, focus on survival and a defensive response. On the second, try a clean transition between Agents. On the third, look for a reliable Chain Attack opportunity. If the team feels awkward, change one position or one action at a time. A fixed script copied from an old patch may fail because your roster and the enemy differ.
Set an upgrade rule
Before upgrading an Agent, state what the upgrade is meant to improve. If you cannot name the obstacle, keep the materials until you can. If you can clear the fight but dislike the rhythm, more levels may not make the team enjoyable. Try another available Agent in a low-stakes encounter first.
Keep the shop separate from the setup
The current limited channel can advertise a character who looks ideal on paper. Read its terms and your existing roster before using currency. This article does not assume any specific banner or guarantee, and it does not claim that a paid pull is necessary to build a workable team.
VexRig’s note: this is a sourced learning framework. We have not tested a specific build, damage result or Agent combination. A future tested build should state its patch, equipment and encounter.
