Goal: make one session coherent. The publisher’s Steam page lists single-player, online co-op, PvP and cross-platform multiplayer. It also describes solo story exploration and group activities. The existence of each mode does not mean every quest is best played in a group.

Choose a story destination, a martial-arts technique to practice and one optional place to explore. Play without changing weapons every few minutes. If an encounter defeats you, ask whether you understood its reach and timing before replacing the whole setup. Solo play gives you space to learn at your pace and to follow the story without negotiating a group’s schedule.

Group route

Agree on an activity and a realistic session length before inviting friends. Check the current game’s party and progression requirements on all participating accounts. If a friend cannot enter a dungeon or shared area, do not assume the store’s general cross-platform claim overrides an activity-specific gate. Choose a common objective that every player can access.

For a first group run, assign simple responsibilities: who leads the route, who explains unfamiliar mechanics and when the group pauses for loot or story. This reduces confusion without dictating a “meta” team. For competitive play, inspect the current mode’s rules separately rather than importing assumptions from co-op.

Reset your expectations after updates

Online activities and restrictions can change. Verify the present menu and region before publishing a detailed step-by-step party guide. VexRig has not tested cross-region connections, matchmaking or a particular dungeon for this article, so it does not promise seamless progression in every situation.

VexRig’s note: your best setup is the one that lets the people in the session do the activity they came for. A solo story evening and a co-op challenge can require different plans without either being the “wrong” way to play.
