Checked October 9, 2026. In a September 29 developer announcement on Steam, KURO GAMES said it plans to upgrade the client download and update mechanism on Steam in version 3.8. The post describes an upcoming launcher replacement and says the schedule and detailed update instructions will follow in another announcement.

There is no reason to reinstall the game based on a preview alone. Keep using the current official client and watch the game’s Steam announcements or the developer news page for the actual rollout steps. If the instructions later require a new download, check available storage and allow time before a planned play session.

Avoid links from unofficial “migration helpers” or posts promising a faster client. The publisher has not supplied a public timetable in the preview quoted here; a precise date from elsewhere should be independently confirmed before repeating it.

Why this matters

An installer change affects how a live-service game receives future updates. It does not, by itself, announce a combat balance change, a new character, a free reward or a performance gain on a particular PC. Players who use Steam should separate this client notice from version-specific gameplay notes.

VexRig’s read: this is a preparation notice. When the migration instructions are published, this story needs a dated update with the exact required steps and any known account-linking implications. Our first-session guide covers gameplay fundamentals separately.
